Sole to Soul Running is a very special kind of running/walking group. No matter what your fitness level, you'll find the support you need to accomplish goals you never thought were possible!

We offer support if you're just starting out or an experienced runner or walker. It's a great time to run -- or learn to run -- or walk. This group is for YOU; no matter what your pace or experience, we think you're perfect!

Transformations...

Every once in a while, I still do a double-take when I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror.

Who is that gray-haired woman?

It makes me realize that 2016 was a year of great transformation for me.

I sure look different -- all that gray hair and much less weight.  And I feel different -- calmer and more pragmatic.  At peace with my pace -- in running and life -- in new and wonderful ways.

We all hold the promise of great transformation, of becoming happier with our races and places.  In life and in running, I've found some commonalities in finding success.

1.  Be patient with yourself. Sometimes your roots will annoy you.  Wait it out, and you'll find new growth that's better than you can imagine.

2.  Take the support that's offered to you. People want to help you.  Let them.  You'll be surprised at how good those connections feel.

3.  Have faith in yourself. This sometimes takes courage.  it takes bravery to go out and do a run by yourself your trianing in.  It's hard to start over and be okay with your time.  You can do it, though.  You CAN!  And you'll fee so good!  

As much as I love you all now and believe you to be perfect, I hope we all continue to transform in the new year. Let's take chances.  Let's explore.  And let's have an amazing time together!

Many of our members joined Sole to Soul to train for their first 1/2 marathon. Most of us never thought that running 13.1 miles was even possible when we first started training but, together, we learned that we could do it.

Our running motto is "At Peace With My Pace." I believe that with encouragement and support, you can cross the finish line -- still upright, smiling and ready to sign up for another adventure.
