Sole to Soul Running is a very special kind of running/walking group. No matter what your fitness level, you'll find the support you need to accomplish goals you never thought were possible!

We offer support if you're just starting out or an experienced runner or walker. It's a great time to run -- or learn to run -- or walk. This group is for YOU; no matter what your pace or experience, we think you're perfect!

Our Facebook page is your best source for up-to-date training and race information!

I'm not a certified coach or physician -- just someone who knows that running with wonderful people makes for a wonderful life.  Please see About Us for important information about my coaching skills (or lack thereof).

Here's the thing:  It may start with the sole, but it changes the soul!

We'd love for you to join us on our Saturday morning and race day adventures. See our Training Schedule each week for our meeting place and mileage.

From Rags to Ragnar

This weekend, 12 Solemates are piling into two vans for 200 miles of running adventure!

Along the way, we'll be spreading our At My With My Pace message, demonstrating our values both by the joy and comraderie of our runners AND by the hundreds of Sole to Soul magnets we'll be sharing with the other Ragnar teams.

It is still somewhat amazing to me that -- just a few short years ago -- I couldn't run a block. Finding peace with my pace enabled me to keep going, and it's the mantra that has made it possible for so many of us to accomplish our goals.

Now, coming back from injury and facing new challenges, I find strength in that phrase in a whole new way.

But there's more.

Sole to Soul Running has its own culture.  One in which our speediest runners know how deeply their appreciated, finding joy in their own results and in the realization that they are loved and appreciated at any speed.

Our culture nurtures the new runner -- the one who conquers his or her first mile with astonishment.  Who does this even when it's HARD to do it.

We are the group that will tell one another to rest, but never give up ourselves.  We will encourage one other to run that extra minute, strive for that PR and relish each second of speed.

But perhaps what really makes us different is that we are the group who will stay with you on a bad day, pick you up when you fall, worry about you if you're late.

It would be great if our message-spreading at Ragnar brings us new members.  And it would be amazing and fulfilling if someone reads our message and stops doubting themselves.

Be grateful that you are out there.  That you are doing this.  Your pace is perfect.

Perfect for you.

Many of our members joined Sole to Soul to train for their first 1/2 marathon. Most of us never thought that running 13.1 miles was even possible when we first started training but, together, we learned that we could do it.

Our running motto is "At Peace With My Pace." I believe that with encouragement and support, you can cross the finish line -- still upright, smiling and ready to sign up for another adventure.

You can do this, too; please email me with questions!
