Sole to Soul Running is a very special kind of running/walking group. No matter what your fitness level, you'll find the support you need to accomplish goals you never thought were possible!

We offer support if you're just starting out or an experienced runner or walker. It's a great time to run -- or learn to run -- or walk. This group is for YOU; no matter what your pace or experience, we think you're perfect!

Post-Race Reflections. Pre-Race Plans.
Yesterday, these amazing Solemates (and Melissa and Amy, too), were getting ready to run the San Diego Half Marathon. When we took this picture, Kathy and Maria were on there way to start the 5K.

For Gina, Schuntay and Ruth, it was their first half -- and they were amazing.  Actually, EVERYONE did so well!  It was super-fun to finish, but I must say that one of the very best parts was seeing everyone at the end, cheering for each other and celebrating the moment. Carmen and Carol came just to cheer -- and Carol took fantastic pictures (see them all on our Facebook page).

After the race, Mary Beth texted me about what a great group we have and how I should be proud.

I am.

You are all so special.  So giving.  So...soulful!  And, after every run, I am thankful to be surrounded by such fantastic people. 

This picture shows the beginning of something wonderful.  Every day, we have the opportunity to picutre new adventures and new successes -- at any speed.   That means that now is the right time to plan your next challenge and picture yourself at the finish line.

Many of our members joined Sole to Soul to train for their first 1/2 marathon. Most of us never thought that running 13.1 miles was even possible when we first started training but, together, we learned that we could do it.

Our running motto is "At Peace With My Pace." I believe that with encouragement and support, you can cross the finish line -- still upright, smiling and ready to sign up for another adventure.
