Sole to Soul Running is a very special kind of running/walking
group. No matter what your fitness level, you'll find the support you need to accomplish goals you never thought were possible!
We offer support if you're just starting out or
an experienced runner or walker. It's a great time
to run -- or learn to run -- or walk. This group is for YOU; no matter what your pace or experience, we think you're

Running can change your life. Who knew?
This picture -- of our wonderful Vanessa at the Carlsbad Marathon -- tells quite a story.

Not just because she
looks so great at Mile 23 (!!!), not just because she has lost 130 pounds (!!!!), and not just because she was one of six
Sole to Soul runners who completed the Half or Full Marathon on Jan. 27.
This picture also tells the story of support
-- there were also many of us cheering our runners on. It tells the story of what it means to set a goal and then have
a group of people believe in your dreams as much as you do. It tells you that YOU can be a runner, too -- no matter your experience
or pace or age or weight. You can do it.
Vanessa is a remarkable woman, and when she wrote about completing
her first full marathon, she wrote that running helped her discover herself again.
As we start 2013 with so many
running opportunities ahead of you, I invite you to come join us, sign up for something, and then let us be with you to reach
your goals -- step by step.
Today, I send bravos to Corey, Melissa and Amy for completing the Half -- and Vanessa,
Stephanie and Becca for completing the Full. And bravos, too, to Kirsten, Mary Beth, Anna, Carmen, Carol and Elena
for being there to cheer on our runners. You are the spirit of Sole to Soul.
And I join you in giving our
group two thumbs up!!!

A New Year. A New Step Forward.
Sole to Soul is growing in some amazing ways.

Over the last few weeks, we've had some fantastic experienced runners
join us AND some brand-new runners taking their very first steps.
We welcome all of you.
As we grow
and evolve, though, there is one thing that will never change about our group: We will support each other. We
will accept each member and celebrate his or her own talents. We will remain at peace with our pace.
a lot of fun. But I am quite serious about making sure that each person who joins us feels accepted and celebrated.
Whatever you need to help you, we can make sure it happens.
When, after some of us walked four miles or ran 8 --
or ran 9 (!!), we went to Solana Beach to cheer on Vanessa and Stephanie as they completed their 20 miles. The pizza
and beer were great, but the best part was that we all were there for each other.
You all restore my faith
in human nature. You are amazing. You keep ME going.
Now... who wouldn't want to be a part of that?
Come join and experience it for yourself!
Many of our members joined Sole to Soul to
train for their first 1/2 marathon. Most of us never thought that running 13.1 miles was even possible when we first
started training but, together, we learned that we could do it.
Our running motto is "At Peace With My Pace." I believe
that with encouragement and support, you can cross the finish line -- still upright, smiling and ready to sign up for another
