Sole to Soul Running is a very special kind of running/walking group. No matter what your fitness level, you'll find the support you need to accomplish goals you never thought were possible!

We offer support if you're just starting out or an experienced runner or walker. It's a great time to run -- or learn to run -- or walk. This group is for YOU; no matter what your pace or experience, we think you're perfect!

Running into 2012: Sign up for Something!
One of the very best ways to keep your training on track is to sign up for an event!  You'll have Sole to Soul support by signing up for any of these local races:

SD Half in March:  Quite a few of us are already signed up for this and, if you already have some training under your belt, you'll be ready with no worries.  This will be the first Half for Lisa and Martha, and we have a Sole to Soul Running team -- select us when you sign up.

The La Jolla Half in April.  Start now and be ready for my favorite Half.  It's hilly and beautiful and so fun! You have PLENTY of time to train for this, even if you're just starting now.

The Safari Half in May.  This is the weekend after the La Jolla Half.  I'll doing both -- running more seriously in La Jolla and just relaxing through the Safari (Wild Animal Park) run.  My bestest friend is coming from Portland to join us, and it's going to be a BLAST!  Lots of time to train for this if you start now.

The San Diego Rock n Roll in June. TONS of time to train, so this might be your perfect first Half. I'll be there, too!

Running into 2012

Our Vegas Solemates were amazing -- and I'm so thrilled to congratulate Val on completely her first half!! I'm so proud of her and Elena and Bea.

I'll admit -- there were challenges.  It was cold.  And crowded.  And cold.

But it the most fun I've ever had at a start line, and our team can be more proud than ever at what they accomplished.

San Diego races will feel like a walk in the park in comparison Smile.

So... what are YOU waiting for?  Come join us Saturday morning.  I know you can do it!   XXOO JM

Many of our members joined Sole to Soul to train for their first 1/2 marathon. Most of us never thought that running 13.1 miles was even possible when we first started training but, together, we learned that we could do it.

Our running motto is "At Peace With My Pace." I believe that with encouragement and support, you can cross the finish line -- still upright, smiling and ready to sign up for another adventure.
