Sole to Soul Running is a very special kind of running/walking group. No matter what your fitness level, you'll find the support you need to accomplish goals you never thought were possible!

We offer support if you're just starting out or an experienced runner or walker. It's a great time to run -- or learn to run -- or walk. This group is for YOU; no matter what your pace or experience, we think you're perfect!

Our Facebook page is your best source for up-to-date training and race information!

I'm not a certified coach or physician -- just someone who knows that running with wonderful people makes for a wonderful life.  Please see About Us for important information about my coaching skills (or lack thereof).

Here's the thing:  It may start with the sole, but it changes the soul!

We'd love for you to join us on our Saturday morning and race day adventures. See our Training Schedule each week for our meeting place and mileage.

Our training run is going to be extra fun this week because there are three different route lengths: 3.5, 4.5 and 9.  While I love that this is perfect week for some of our new members to get started, I always feel bad if I can't be there when everyone finishes (and trust me, it will take me longer to run the 9 miles than it will take the walkers to do 3.5)!

Still, one of the amazing and wonderful thing about us Solemates is that we take care of each other. It means you never have to be afraid to be the last one in; someone will be looking out for you!

It also means you don't need to be afraid of trying this whole running thing. Or trying to go further than you ever have before. We are there for you.

So let's start out this holiday weekend with some great exercise with fabulous people. It'll be good for your soles -- and your soul!

See the Training Schedule for all the details.  See ya Saturday!

Here are words I thought I'd never say: Only four miles!

That's our mileage this Saturday, but if those words fill your heart (and legs) with terror, please know that our group supports you at any mileage and any pace.  Many of us run intervals (a few minutes running; a few minutes walking) -- and you'll be amazed that this is something you can do -- but if you want to walk, then come and walk. (Notice how I didn't say "just" walk!)

I remember the first time I completed a four-mile route, and I felt that if I could do that, then maybe anything was possible.  And it is!!!

I'm so excited to share the running experience with all of you. See our Training Schedule for the location and other information. See you Saturday!   JM

Many of our members joined Sole to Soul to train for their first 1/2 marathon. Most of us never thought that running 13.1 miles was even possible when we first started training but, together, we learned that we could do it.

Our running motto is "At Peace With My Pace." I believe that with encouragement and support, you can cross the finish line -- still upright, smiling and ready to sign up for another adventure.

You can do this, too; please email me with questions!
